So I decided to go ahead and do it. I'm going to put a RKSport lip kit onto my SS/SC. please let me know if you have one and are willing to part ways. let me know asap.

 

I thought that kit says it doesn't fit the SS cars?

 

doesnt right off the bat. but it has been done by a few people. i have a body shop that i trust to get the job done with modifiy it a lil bit. i've seen these guys work many a times and trust them to make my car stand out from the crowd

yeah. i tried it. have to cut the rear bumper to get the rksport g5 rear lip to fit

 

Why do you have to cut it? Cant you just take off the old rear lip and it should just slip on right?

 

the ss/sc bumper cover is a hell of a lot farther down than a standard balt/g5. the rear lip that goes over the bumper on the ss/sc is just as far down as the entire bumper cover.

basically where the notches ar on the bumper cover is where a 2.2/g5 bumper ends

Personally If I were to do it I would just trade bumpers with a 2.2, you know they would be all over the SS/SC rear lip

back onto the subject of the rksport lip kit.

dead zen what llip is on your car in that pic. i hope nothing and my eyes are just playing tricks. cause i really hate seeing that little piece that protects the tank

 

i actually just got the rksport front lip for my car. im putting it on next week and hope all goes well with it. i do need a new rear lip on my car tho. skymynx...would you be willing to sell your old rear lip. i would drive for pickup!!

 

the old rear lip is damaged though. i put dual exhaust on my car so i had to cut the rear lip. still have the piece i cut out. im thinking about putting it onto my g/fs G5. but im not sure if it will fit. i was just gonna have my bodyshop guy fiberglass the section back in.

 

o tru iight. even damaged i would take it for some cash if your not putting it on another car or using it. i wouldn't mind doing dual exhaust. adds to the creativity of modding lol
