anyone have an intake that they arent happy with or just need some cash and want to get rid of their intake? does not matter to me much what brand, and i also dont need the filter, just the piping. i dont even care if its a ebay special, but keep in mind i am going to make an offer deserved by a used ebay special. i am located in md but have no issues paying shipping. thanks

hey that last pic looks like it has a good gash in the pipe from rubbing or something, or is it a smudge???

There are 2 pretty good rub marks on the pipe. They feel about 1/2 way through, but far from being all the way through. The black smudge is some silicone that I can peel off and take another pic if you want. It is not covering a hole or anything. I had to silicone some fuel line around the hole in the car body that the intake passes through, to keep it from rubbing any worse. All the scratches are on the back side when installed, so it doesnt look as bad as the pics when on the car. I dont like to hide stuff, trying to be honest.

Hey, thats fine. I will probably cut it and make something for the four wheeler or who knows what else. It was just sitting in the garage and will probably be there for years to come.

so now i am wondering if an ebay intake would cause some codes. anyone here run an ebay intake????

hey thanks for the replies everyone but i think i am just going to rock a k and n with an "air box mod" i think its the best way for me to go on my budget. i wont pull any codes, wont have to worry about intake rubbing, and will be in the price i need to be in. i mean really, if i spent the xtra 200 on a cai i would be getting what 5 more hp? 5 hp isnt worth 200 to me right now. and yes i am aware the cai will make a greater difference as a supporting mod, but its just not in the cards right now
