the only thing that makes the interceptor for the cobalt special is that is says SS on it. Most of the interceptors are universal, they plug into the Diag port.

Is that true? It says "SS" on it so its for the SS version or will it actually fit on a 2.2l? where is the Diag port at? anyone have the interceptor on a 2.2l?

Look right under the change holder on the far left of the dash, you will see the port, its also where they plug into our car to smog it... I cant believe no one has put one of these on a 2.2......!

so the only difference between the gauges on cobalt-addicion is that one says "SS" and the other doesnt? Damn if thats the case ill get the interceptor indtead of the autometer d-pic. the interceptor looks cooler and reads more things.

I think the SS one might have a few diff readings (boost...etc) but they all plug in to the same port which is identical to ALL OBD-II cars.

The diag port should be right under the dash under your steering wheel. you can't miss it, it's not really that hidden.

are you talking about under the AC controls? where exactly is the diag port? does the interceptor just plug into it?

look under the dash on the driver's side. The "change tray" he's talkin about is the little compartment where the button to pop your trunk should be on the left hand side of the steering wheel.

That's the one. and it is just there but you can hide the connector if you're crafty enough
