WTB: SS/SC Lips

Anyone looking to get a body kit or new bumpers... I am interested in the SS/SC front and rear lips. My SS is Laser Blue, but I'll buy any color. I'm in Pittsburgh, so if you're close that's even better!

Also... anyone have any idea how much they are from the dealer? I'm going to call this week and ask, but I was wondering if anyone knew already. Someone posted a while ago about it being in the $200s, but then I saw someone else posted $140 for each.

Personally looking at your car today, I like the rear the way it is. Otherwise you're going to have to go aftermarket...I really don't think the SS/SC lip will look right because the rear is a different bumper design on the 2.4s. The front should look fine, but I think the rear is going to look off.

Here's what I'm talking about:

See down at the bottom how our bumper is different from yours? That's where I think you're going to have problems.

Well I thought about aftermarket (since way before I even bought the car)... but I hate all of their fronts. So once I found out the lip would fit, I started liking it more and more. Now the problem with getting an aftermarket rear is that I'm afraid the lines won't look good. I hate chopping and mixing styles.

I also thought it fit on the rear with some hardware... but I guess I could be wrong. I only thought that because I had heard two people talking about doing it on theirs. After looking at it on your pic, it looks a lot different at first... but if you look closely at the 2.4 rear next to the 2.0, I think the lip on the 2.0 just meets the bumper above the part that looks different on the 2.4 (just above the vertical line that runs across the 2.4 bumper).

If there was just a ground effects kit where I could buy a piece for the rear that would look good with the sides and 2.0 front lip, I'd get that instead. I'm not trying to immitate the 2.0 look... I love my spoiler and the 17s. I'm just looking for a nicer look on the bumpers. Mine just look so plain (rounded).

That's the way it seems to me too, I was under the impression it was all a solid piece, but I've never had reason to check. The only reason I'm thinking that is that the mesh parts on the 2.0 go straight into the bottom "edge". It doesn't appear to be anything that the lip would attach to.

Ask celicacobalt about it, he has the whole kit. He'd know whether it was a bumper or just a lip.

It is frustrating. If you could find one that would flow with the front and sides from the GM kit then usually you can order just the rear part. But finding one that flows with the stock look is the toughest part.

That's exactly my problem. I don't want something that's too ricey... but I want something that's sharp and a little lower looking. Someone just needs to make a better lip kit.
