WTB: Stock cobalt ss radio with usb for ipod.

neone have one of these. i seen i a pic ofa different members car he had his plugged into what looked to be like a stock radio. if so and u got one. im interested.

yeah the 09 T/cs have a usb plug for the ipod

From what I understand they are programmed to ur vehicle a friend of mine did the same thing to his and it only kinda worked and his gages and all kinda of **** went haywire even after the dealer tried unlocking it or whatever they called it

these will not fit into an 06. totally diffrent wiring. i had a hell of a time finding something to work. PAC makes a ipod integration unit for the 05-06, but i had two, sent first one back and thought it was a defective, and both didnt work on the SC radio. called the head engineer for PAC and they didn't know why. i had to settle with aftermarket with aux jack.

I admit it is sweet. I have it on my 09 G5 GT and it rocks. I can change songs with the steering wheel controls, etc. It charges the iPod etc. It would be nice if you could get it working!

so looks like i gota go aftermarket with like a usb port in it? would that work? and then also would the steering wheel controls work yet or not?

Yea an aftermarket with a usb port is ur best bet my dads truck has one and my blackberry hooks up to it and works fine and u can buy an adapter from best buy to allow use of the steering wheel controls
