WTB Tensioner Tool

Well I ordered the pulley boys tensioner tool off their site and ******* email back "oh we won't have it in stock till june". well **** you douchebags i don't have till june. anyways.

Does anyone have one that I could get?

use a crow bar, use the motor mount to pry off. works great

I don't need the stupid suggestions I've done it before I'd rather fork out 90 bucks before dealing with the piece of **** again though.

Yeah they do make nice ones. Kinda like the one I'm trying to buy. That I tried to buy from them but they're so ****** stupid that they can't have something that prob costs 20 bucks to make in stock.

a crow bar is going to damage the pulley and such that doesn't help me

cant u use the little nub on the back of the tensinor?? i thought thats what it as tehre 4 i beleave a 14 or 15mm fits on it pritty snug...

you go out to your car and try to put a 15mm open end per gm spec on that rounded off from the factory piece of **** and come back and tell me how it works out for you putting your belt back on by yourself. it ain't gonna happen. snuggly doesn't happen either. /rant.

Thats what it says to use in Alldata DIY, I tried it and it actually works.

like i said before.
i've had it off numerous times now via the nub behind the tensioner pulley with a 15 and 14(hammered the **** on) open end wrench. it is not fun. i'd rather pay 90 bucks.

the tool would be nice, but if you use vice grips instead of an open wrench it works 100 times better!

Thats an even better idea

I'd have a hard time on justifying spending 90 bucks US on a tool that I might use one or twice.
