I don't know where your other thread pertaining to this problem is so I'm going to post this here.
I'd advise against installing a used sleeve into any Ecotec. The top of the cylinder sleeves are trimmed to just above the deck after installation to ensure proper headgasket seal. Installing a sleeve that cannot be trimmed could cause you to blow a headgasket not long after you start the car.

The reason I was trying to get a used on is because I couldn't find the part number for a new one started to think they were'nt for sell, but I have it now thanks for the concern though. Part number 88984129 for anyone else needing it.

There's a whole set of sleeve pullers, installers and trimmers that dealerships have as required equipment.
I've only ever seen one motor resleeved and I don't recall why it was being done. Probably for a new piston.
