go on tirerack.com

one thing you don't want to skimp on is your ability to keep your car on the road. it's worth it to spend the extra hundred dollars on good tires. god forbid you slide into something and **** up your car, will you be happy about the great deal you got on those cheap tires? you can get great brand new setups from tirerack, shipped mounted and balanced for between 5-600 total.

One only slides into something if they are not driving responsibly. And I am totally happy with the setup I have. They weren't exactly cheap either. I didn't really feel like dumping a grand on a set of "blizzaks" that everyone on this site is gunning for. And actually, my traction has increased ten-fold.
When purchasing online, you don't exactly get a great deal unless you can drive to the depot to get them fixed if something goes wrong, if you live far off like myself.
