its for sale for more, but i know thats as low as he'll go.

Now the bad:
the car has just hit 100K miles
It looks like it has that many miles on it (i'm sure you are more than capable of fixing that)
the trans is built, but it has its quirks
the motor will have to come out again at some time soon. There is external oil leaks that is giving us a little bit of smoke
we think the turbo is blowing oil into the intake (haven't checked it out yet)

Did i mention the car has 100K HARD miles?

I'd only buy it if i was committed to doing a tear down in the near future


Oh, and i still need a new trans for the balt. BUMP!!

i would stay away from any tranny with that many miles on it.

 

He is just fixing it and selling it though... right?

I think i found one for $450 with 40k on it. But yes, i'm getting it back together and dumping the car. I got bigger fish to fry.

I'll still gladly donate my tranny to john sheppard if he needs some for rebuild/research.

 

Are you going to part out the car before getting rid of it ? If so I'll take the rear sway 8)

 

Part out will be determined after the car is back together and driving and whatever the next owner wants to do with the car.

my car is at another chevy dealer at the moment. Trying to play the warranty game again. this dealer said they would give me a shot. I'll let you guys know hopefully by monday or tuesday.

Parts are no longer needed. My car is all done and back in running order. a Chevy dealer near me replaced the transmission, clutch, and all clutch related parts under warranty.
