WTT: 17" SS Rims

Looking to trade my SS 17" rims with the tires for the 18" SS/SC rims with the tires. Tires must be at at least 95% left. Will trade stright up if someone is interested.

Who in their right mind would trade equally for 17" wheels and all season v-rated tires for high performance Pirelli w-rated summer only tires on 18" wheels?

The rubber on an SS/SC is worth more than the tires and wheels on an SS 2.4L!

That's precisely his point, no one in their right mind is going to trade the SS/SC rims w/tires, especially tires with decent tread left, for HEAVIER 17" rims with crappier tires on them. The tires themselves cost $100 more, not even taking into account the difference in rims.

I do believe they're heavier, but only by a pound or two. Still...if someone's going to go down in size I don't see many people being willing to do so unless there was some weight savings and/or better tires involved.

I would do it if it lowered weight and I could make some extra money..People pays hundreds more for just the 18" rims than they do for the 17s+the p6s on them...

edit: I heard the 18s weigh 3 more lbs than the 17s ea.??

The 17's with tires, for 18's without tires, would be a good trade.

yeah

equal trade IMHO would be 17's + $300 or $400 with tires for 18's with tires
