i want a cluster from an 07 ss. i have a g5 cluster now its white faced with red lighting. i dont think milage matters since its digital and saved in our ecu's. but if it matters my car has 78xx miles

 

what about an 06??

 

05 and 06 will not work with an 07 and up. 07 and up should all be interchangeable, but I'm not positive. I know 07 and 08 are for sure though.

 

correct has to be from the same year car as you said 05-06 interchange and 07+ interchange

Have u tried Blackcatcustoms for a swap? Then u can get any colored bezel that has 160 on tha dash and get ur black/grey (or any) color.

 

wait so am i reading this right? any 07+ model gauge cluster from a cobalt can be used on my 07 ss/na? i always thought it was just exact year only. if this is true then hurray for me

Not positive on the 07+ but pretty sure... I know for sure that the same year clusters are interchageable. and that 05 and 06 are interchangeable

 

I swapped an '07 SS 140mph into my 07 LT 120mph. I got tuned with governor off. Plus it can have 200+mph on tha dash, as long as it's tha whole cluster and not just an overlay face. Tha computer inside tha cluster will keep everything accurate regardless of how high it shows.
