I bought a 2.5 ceramic magnaflow cat from ZZP 3 months ago. When I finally got around to having it installed along with my exhaust yesterday, I found out that the LSJ downpipe that I have is really a 3" downpipe and not a 2.5 like everyone had said it was. ZZP has a 30 day return limit so I'm obviously passed that. I would like to trade this for the 3" ceramic version from ZZP if it's possible. And new not used. Maybe someone here can order the 3" one then just trade it with me and we just pay shipping. **no one from cali it says not CA legal** http://www.zzperformance.com/cobalt_...=364&catid=155

I wouldnt run a full 3 inch DP unless your plan on making over ~300 hp to the wheels.2.5 is gonna flow just fine for what your wanting to put down and having the 3inch DP down to the 2.5 cat is still gonna flow really well.

 

i always thought that the downpipe was three inches it looks ****** huge dude

 

well i dont have the money to buy a 2.5 downpipe so the lsj dp will have to do and the exhaust guy said the cat is 2.5 it wont fit on a 3"
it is i never knew this though everyone always said the lsj dp was a 2.5 they were wrong

 

find a different shop cause he's a ******* idiot,he can weld 2.5 to it then stretch it to 3 inch lol or there's pre-made adapters as well

 

maybe he doesnt have a thing to stretch it idk and this is the best shop where i live it was recommended to me by a local car group and they all got fast ass cars so they couldn't of steered me wrong...
