I'm shocked these haven't been sold yet. Do you also have the modified phasers to go with them for 8k operation?

Do you know if these would work on a 2007 2.2l lt model?

If u don't mind me asking, what's the difference between the different stages of cams? I'm sure the higher the stage then the better the performance but what are the specs, benefits of each, etc? Thanks.

Oh no not at all a totally legit question. Companys usually talk in cam stages to show where the powerband and max HP

So basically the changes to cams that make the difference are lift, duration and lobe separation. With our DOHC engine lobe separating is controlled by cam phasers on vvt engines or adjustable cam gears on non vvt engines so we'll just leave that out. So basically a cam is opening the valves to let air into the engine. The more duration and lift the more air can be sucked or pushed into the engine but with lots of duration you will lose bottom end power.

So we'll say this as examples I'm just pulling numbers out my ass here totally made up

Stg 1 cam with a powerband from 2500-6500 will basically have stock driveability and idle

Stg 2 cams with a 3000-7000rpm will lose some bottom end and a slightly rough idle but better hp than the stg1s

Stg 3 cam are basically all out race cams 3500-7500+ so daily driving will be rough with lower bottom end and idle will be rough but will scream up top

Hopefully that answered your question feel free to ask more

Well for us it depends on airflow the bigger the turbo the bigger the cams you can you use. Like you don't want to run huge cams that Rev out to 8k when the turbo falls off at 5k like stock

I have the zfr full bolt-ons including Powell's 4.45 tranny. Just got a meth kit not too long ago and was thinking of running both meth and e-85 later down the road. If I went with e, I just wasn't sure which stage cams to get but now I think I'll settle with the stage 1.

You're right on the edge with the ZFR you can go either way here's a quote from ZZP:

Valvesprings.
Power band is also dependent on the turbo. With a ZFR, I'd shift at 7300 rpm based on the ecm limit for cam phasing at 7400. With a 259 turbo and modified phasers, I would shift ~7800.

So the ECM limits cam phasing to 7400? To rev to 8000, you'd need a different ecm or what? Lol n00b question I know, but I'm asking cuz I'm planning on going with a built engine capable of revving to 8000, maybe more.. I was running to 7500 previously on the stock block with stg 1 cams and there's tons of power up there with a Zfr. I'm hoping the bigger version comes out soon cuz I'd like to upgrade even more and shut all of my friends up for good this year LoL Your Stg 3's are tempting, but I'm probably more suited for stg 2's.. I'm just not ready to buy at this point in time but definitely before spring

You need the new modified phasers for sure and I believe you have to change the cam rpm limits in HPT up to 8000rpm. ZZP recommends with the stg2s shifting at 7800 rpm with phasers the revving mods and a 259et, 7300 on ZFR

They'll be good for you. I bet someone will buy them who doesn't have a build even close enough for them

I've turned down people that these cams will not benefit their build!
