Photoshopped plate and wheels no one likes so I won't be submitting it but thought I'd share. Trying to come up with a worthy photo.

Like someone mentioned, 50% of a good picture is creativity of the guy operating the camera... You can give someone a fully tricked out RX-8 on a drift suspension , and they won't be able to put it sideways on a wet road because they won't be able to figure out how to turn off stability control....

Then there's the skilled drifter who will go sideways into every corner in a beat up old BMW with street suspension.... Hope that makes sense.

 

By the way, not sure if post #25 (xRobxPunkx's submission) is completely family friendly... My little 3 year old daughter was playing in the living room while I was scrolling though that thread and when she saw that picture she said loudly (as most 3 year olds do) ”Daddy, why is that woman only wearing her undies!?”...

Needless to say, I had some explaining to do (to her and to my wife later) lol. It seems Rob Punk is a great photographer and I hope he has many other g-rated pics of his LSJ. Just my $.02... No offense to the model. Otherwise I'll have to pass on this years calendar (or Sharpie in some modest clothes on her).

Apparently to a 3 year old they look just like underwear. Plus this would be a car calendar, not an SI or "my car with a model" calendar, if I understand correctly.

i have to agree but for different reasons. i plan on putting this calendar up in my office at work. kinda wont be able to if that photo makes it in... and i imagine it will since this is CSS and all lol

Not if it gets removed/replaced for being questionable in compliance with rule # 8 before the vote.

Time will tell I guess.
