Got to play around with my off brand external flash. Amazed at how well it works for being a cheapo off of amazon.

Out on our morning walk!

Sophie on a cold January morning by Eric Foxwell, on Flickr

Anyone interested in the new D500 or D5? I almost pulled the trigger on ordering a D7200 and now I'm glad I waited. I think I'm going to save up and get myself the D500.

Beaucoup bucks. I might see about upgrading from my D7000 to a D7100 used body sometime in the future but I know I'm sticking with the D7K for now.

I have friend that owns a parts shop so I was able to get them at distributor cost. $860 for the set.

Was able to test them out and they will need a 3mm spacer but Im excited for it to warm up.

Picked up a D7100 earlier this month, and love it so far. I bought the little Wifi dongle as well, and that thing is fantastic! Shot this last night, uploaded it to my phone via the dongle, and edited it in lightroom right on my phone. What a time to be alive!

These are some nice shots! I really like the long exposure work. It is something I want to experiment with as well. Just have to find a new camera
