The guy is for real, and he used to be a dentist here in Arizona, but quit that business after he decided to make a **** site, and now he makes ****. They know who he is, but not where he is at.
I think it is dumb that they try to prosecute him. He should have the right to make any SELF CREATED evidence to NOT be used against him. I know we don't have that right, but it should not be court admissible. It's his choice to tape it, but if a cop didn't catch him he should not get prosecuted.
I think the guy was having fun, and risking his life for sure, but I don't care what he does, and it looks like he was being as responsible as he could be for what he was doing.
219mph on the 202 is crazy, and certainly faster than I have ever gone. But if anyone knows that part of the freeway you know that if you are going to do it, that's the place. Smooth road, no cars, no cops, etc. Some of the freeways here are in better condition than our race tracks. Better IMO than Firebird and PIR. And they are straighter for longer distances. So the people that say "take it to the track" are not justified in road conditions, but only in public safety concerns.
On a side note, there is a part of the AZ-51 that is downhill, no cars behind you, and mostly straight for about 5 miles. Needless to say about 6 months or more ago they started stationing a police helicopter in that 10 mile radius EVERY SINGLE night. And they went and paved HUGE speed bumps near the airport where everyone in town used to race (That was a smart move IMO).
Yes, and it's because THEY ARE!
I totally agree with you.
And here the police are making a big deal of a car going 219 on the 202, but they don't even raise and eyebrow to a cobalt video going 160mph on the same F-ing road. I think it is stupid. And they are even going after his friends who posted videos of street racing in their other cars. Cops need to go after the REAL criminals and not make a big deal out of crap like this. The only thing they did is turn the guy into a HERO/Martyr and now you will see copy cats, and people idolizing his actions.

I don't know if any of you have ever heard of the Star Boyz from here in Ohio?? They are the ones that started the wheelies down the freeways on motorcycles. Well, this is exactly how they got to be well known or famous.

Oh that's right. The FBI doesn't look for fugitives, I forgot about that. He is wanted for this "crime". They have identified him, and he fled the area, and is on the run/in hiding.
