Hey Guys, I know it's a cobalt forum, but I got my new wheels and tires on, FINALLY, and figured i'd take a few shots. I need to brighten them up a little in photoshop, but ole well, thought you guys may enjoy these too, I used to be a cobalt guy, after all Here ya go.

Wheels are 18" FR500 Replicas in Anthracite, 18x9 and 18x10. Rear tires are 335/30-18 BFG KDW2's

I LOVE those cars. But I just hate the color... I don't like white cars. I know I'm in the minority, but they just don't do anything for me. The car looks clean as hell though!

Sexy cobra! Thats the first car i wanted (03 sonic blue) but just didnt work out so i ended up with a 300whp cobalt and still modding to make it as fast as my cobra would of been (or at least try). I'm fan of the 03-04 cobras so your welcome to keep sharing more pix & vids of your cobra!

Actually I have already put 1 car length on an stock 04 cobra.... the problem is when i run into a modded 03-04 cobra im screwed as my car sits now.

You need wider than 10 wide wheels for those 335s. They belong on 11.5-12.5" wide wheels.

Stock Cobra VS Decently Modded SS/TC you would win, but have that cobra throw on an intake and an exhaust and it would probably win

Not saying your cars slow, i'm just saying Cobras are hard to keep up with in our cars. They can throw on one mod compared to us throwing on 4 and they still win.

Cobalt SS are way nice, but I don't see one beating a terminator mod for mod. Ever.

You can clearly see in my pictures that the tire isnt pinched or bulging or anything. They fit fine, handle great, and I don't drive fast anyway.

i love the cobras as well, im now in the toss up if i want the new 412hp 5 litre or the cobra.

If you're looking to spray, get a tune, change the gears, and run slicks, to run 10's, to around the tune of $55,000 get the 5.0.

If you're looking to go FI, and be safe as far as the bottom end is concerned, up to 1000HP, for half the price, go for a terminator.


The new 5.0 Coyote engine is astounding and a really awesome engine all around, but it's just not BUILT to make HUGE power, and for the price, I'd rather have a BMW.
