most of them are very "peaky." they hit their powerband and fall off up top. a good tuner solves most of that issue. LSJ's on nitrous however have a powerband from hell

it's all different strokes for different folks. I definitely miss the whine of my lsj, but there is so much more potential on turbo systems. My 06 raped many a ricer and many a mustang, and surprised quite a few people. The only problem i had is that small displacement supercharged motors are so limited compared to a turbo setup. nitrous and meth aside, a properly tuned and matched turbo set up will take you much farther than a supercharger....on a SMALL motor like the 2.0 ecotec. v8's need superchargers IMHO, and little 4's need turbos. I'm not hating though, i really do miss my lsj sometimes.

not exactly then why arnt high hp drag cars awd then? or lets say bracket cars? awd gets stuck around the 1.7 60ft mark. rwd can get down pretty low.

true, I wasn't even thinking of dragging, etc.

More in terms of street.

Oh well, I'm not gonna have a debate about it ....

I just wish my cobalt didn't have the drivetrain that it does

umm who gets stuck at that mark? Honestly are you just talking out of your ass or did you experience this? lol

Becaue I did 1.6 out of the box in my evo, if you put a good driver behind the wheel, they can beat 1.7's no problem. And even 1.7's arent extremely easy. Plenty of my friends cut 1.5's or lower in there evo with DR's or slicks on, and even with a GODLY driver behind the wheel on street tires.

Just had to put my .02 there
