am I rice? yes? or no? pics and video at bottom!

wasup to all the honda haters, now you might call my fog lights ricey but other than that... what do you guys think? i had some guys try and clown on me and say i used to drive rice before the cobalt??? (no it wasent any body from this site) lol... na all my **** was either super clean or real mean and ive got some examples for you guys tell me what you think? make sure you watch the video at the bottom! (american muscle)

first i drove this (not my first car that mommy and poppy bought me that was a bug my first honda) 01 prelude sh H22 engine mods were aem cai and cat back and skunk2 ecu with 9000rpm rev limiter... bought as is for less than 10k with less than 30k mi clean tittle...

then i got tired of showing off (got a little older) and wanted to go faster so i got a

99 civic ex and did a fully built 11 to 1 comp b16a and put all the bolt ons and obx intake manifold and port and polished throttle body and lightend flywheel and custom skunk2 tune with 10,000rpm rev limiter but never went past 9200-9500 and axels and drag radials... no wing, no fog lights, no nothing super sleeper style and then bam a pisa in a pickup truck (drunk, un-licensed, un-insured) pulls out in front of me and i couldent avoid hitting him so these are the only pics i have...

and the ins co totaled it out gave me 9k and i bought the car back for 1500 and parted it out... thats how i got my cobalt...

then wanted to go even faster so im currently working on this... 74' firebird with SBC VORTEC 383 500HP MONSTER...

Aside from that stupid ass hood, the rediculous fog lights, the stupid looking fender vents and the rear bumper that is cutout for dual exhaust. Its a nice car. Ive alwasy liked preludes.

preludes are nice as yours was, but the hood and front facia is VERY ricey...so were the motors built for 9k+ RPM's?? 9K rpm should blow up an H22, too long of a stroke to reliably turn over that many revs and stay together IMO, however a b16 may be able to handle it, not sure though

Preludes are nice, but the visual accents aren't really my style--but I love the Cobalt (I keep kicking myself in the ass for not getting an orange one)

The firebird should be awesome!

clearly you havent drivin one thats built... they have tq, there just not torqe monsters like my firebird with 500hp 480tq... let me give you an example i would launch the civic from 2k rpm making it fall on its face then as the throttle rolled on i could just spin the tires all the way through 1st and 2nd and half way through 3rd and thats with a YS1 LSD tranny... so tires were deff a issue till i got axels and slicks lol

i actually like the prelude.. besides the debadging and the fact that theres a dual cutout with only a single exhaust outlet..

Prelude: Liked the wheels.....bodykit was nice save for the massive overkill fogs. But the hood and fenders were hideous. That style has kinda faded out and its all about subtle nowdays......lip kits and carbon fiber are the way to go now.

Civic: Can't really tell a whole lot from the shots. But based on the black Rotas, cf hood and the details on the motor, sounded like a good car. Shame it got totaled.

Cobalt: looks good so far. Just promise me you won't put a giant dual scoop hood and Z3 fenders on it.........

Heres a good example of a clean 'lude. Same color as yours even. Its my roomates previous car. He's since pulled the H22 out of it and put it in a white EK hatch.
