http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=NunQGSbJzv4

poor dog.

idk i think the guy brought it on himself, but they were right in doing what they did, though probably would have been a better situation with rubber bullets

idk whats ur opinion?

I really feel bad for the officer who owned the dog. Most of the time the officers raise the dog and they are more like a best friend and family member then just a dog.

Sucks that the guy put himself in that situation buuuut...

They shot him then never called in a medic (that I could hear)
They shot him and stood around for 3 minutes, then went to check on the dog and never gave the dude any sort of attention other than making sure he didnt try to run

In America you are innocent until proven guilty, so this man shouldve been treated the same way any innocent person wouldve been treated. I would be pretty upset if I was injured by gun shots and police officers didnt even call in a medic. They were in the wrong in that aspect of this video. They completely turned off their emotions and allowed a potentially innocent man to lay suffering and dying. Kinda makes me sad about those who are supposed to be protecting us.

Let the flames begin

the helicopter at the end was more than likely life flight. there not just going to shoot someone and let him die without calling some sort of medical attention.

plus was it so hard to just give up peacefully when they asked him repeatedly to just give up? but instead he just kept taunting them. this guy was stupid and therefor got what he deserved. maybe the next person who is in this guys situation will just give up

I just get sad when law enforcement has to take a life, or really anyone for that matter. Im not saying the cops werent doing their job, or that they were in the wrong. Thats the only part I didnt like, after they shot him they stopped treating him like a human. Kinda lame, IMO, if they showed some compassion, some kind of feeling after they ended a human life, I wouldnt feel so bad.

i can understand if your calling the dog situation retarded, that was just poor judgement on behalf of the dog handler, they were shooting and the handler released his dog, terrible desicion as there is NO stopping those pooches from getting their bite

Seen it several times. Don't make quick movements when at gunpoint by a cop.
Officer training is to shoot when there is the slightest threat of death or serious injury.
