Fine....to settle this score, we each get to take a light whack at the other's doors with a baseball bat. Light, mind you. Very light.

Whoever gets a dent loses

Red as a beet, but not in much pain. Peeling like crazy.

Anyone new who comes next time, bring the following: sunscreen, food and water, and a chair....

Haha...I just glanced at your profile, Brian, and realized you have the exact same first and last name of my good friend from high school. Any relation? He'd be my age, 22 or 23, from Bethel Park. He's studying in London right now.

How wierd would that be lol...

Nope... no relation at all.

There is another BH floating around that is 1 year older than me... i used to get calls in Jr HS from these 16-18 yr olds bitching me out about standing them up. he went to Hempfield.

If there's another one of me running around.... I pity him.

Oh and yes... the rookies that come out with us all have to pass thru the ring of fire as well....ehehehehehe

I'm bringing a cooler and an extra bag chair ( nice ice breaker for the ladies...lol ),
If I still had the Titan, it would be a great support/tow vehicle..

oh well.. time to go home.. I've WORKED enough today....

looks purrrrrty.....

Maybe you should just drop it off over here Dave. I'll take GOOOOD care of it here.

Amazing how quick that got here.

I'm going to be ordering a helemt here in the next couple days, so that's my allowance for now. Have to buy tires soon too, so there goes June's car budget.

Have to start getting a stockpike of parts for the fall....

Looks good bud. Look on the brightside.... its going to be crappy from now until mid-next week.

I'll talk to you later on.

Well guys, I did. I went to C Harper like you guys said, and well I test drove it and fell in love. So I bought it on the spot. Payments are more than I wanted but I am happy. I am going to pick it up tomorrow. I will post pics and give a review of a 2.4 vs 2.0 tomorrow

BTW Dave, I will send you a PM too, but if you still want that wheel, tomorrow before 3pm is your last chance. I know your car is at the shop but if you figure something out let me know.

Hey Brian, I'll help you get that exhaust if you help me get the LSD off his car while it's sitting at the dealership.

Well, I hope you all will welcome a non-ss/redline owner on this site...I found this thread by way of a post on racepa.com. I really like both cars, as I'm a big GM fan in general. They're almost a completely different type of car than mine - they just have awesome performance in different ways.

Thanks for inferring that my car is crap ...but seriously, thank you for taking a video of me racing. That was only my 3rd auto-x that I've actually raced at. I think that might have been my second run you recorded because I spun out in my 3rd run...not sure though. I ended up with 2nd place in FS, behind my buddy Jeff in the red Z/28, which completely shocked me. My fastest time was a 55.446

I'll be at the next event too. Me and about 4 other cars convoy up to north hills from the uniontown area - STi, Camaro Z/28, RSX Type-S, and Mini Cooper S, along with my Goat If you wouldn't mind recording another 'crap' run, I'll give you a few bucks if you upload another one of my runs

There's also going to be a small GTO meet at hooter's in station square on saturday, may 20th. I don't know how the others of the goat herd would feel, but I wouldn't mind any of you guys stopping out. Check out the North East section of ls2gto.com if interested. I'm hoping to drag some more gto's to auto-x on sunday

Sorry for the long post, and once again, thanks for the video.

That was your GTO, awesome, good thing I recorded it, lol. I will gladly get some footage of you next time if I am out there as well. I should be out there though since I just got the new SS today. Dont worry about the few bucks either, its no hassle

Kinda cool that you found this thread on another site

Thanks man. I absolutely love my car. Don't be afraid to come talk to me if you wanna check it out closer or I'll try to find you guys/gals at your cars too. I usually have some kind of penn state t shirt or hoodie on. lol. I didn't get a chance to check out any of them in the pit area, and I've honestly never seen the inside of an ss up close

I've had my car since august and just turned 5k miles on it driving up to pittsburgh the course was awesome for me this weekend since it had that huge straight at the start and most of the turns were nice, wide sweepers too.

This was probably one of the few weekends where I'll get better times than your cars - it's pretty challening handling ~3725 pounds worth of GTO (plus me and usually a co-driver) around really tight turns in an auto-x track, but that's why I like it so much. Throttle oversteer is incredibly easy with traction control off as you probably saw, but the driver's school on saturday helped me out a lot. It helped me to not overdrive the car and not constantly squeal tires. I'm out there more to have fun anyway, but getting 2nd place sure was a great feeling.

Yeah, usually when you see one of us, there is atleast another, if not like 5. Just look for a group of SS/RL's at the next event.

LOL no wonder you didn't come over - two of us are Pitt alums...

I really like the GTOs. I'd like to own one someday, but for now I absolutely love my SS/SC. Once I get my throttle issues sorted out, it should be a helluva lot more fun too.

Well, I'm about a minute or two from the bowling alley/amvets/dairy mart - take your pick So were you the blue supercharged cobalt ss that had trouble with being registered in the computer for the first run? I was working at the timing booth telling the computer workers the order of the cars in the staging line so they had to switch some stuff around in the computer when your car wasn't in there for some odd reason, that's why you had to wait at the line so long.

Yeppers, that was me. That's what I figured was going on. No biggie. At least I still had my tech slip with the info on it.

I know exactly where you live, my aunt and uncle live back in there too. Can't remember which street though.
