AZ people = Badasses We take this every year, with no complains (for the most part)

 

i was down in rio rico last summer (august). i thought i was going to die. literally.

 

cept for the rediculous temps, desert, and shitty gas. It ain't so bad

 

What I love is how the AZ racing season is exactly opposite of the rest of the country. When the eastern guys are rollin their cars on the trailer for the winter, the AZ guys are just dusting them off. Summer is terrible, even at 10-11 PM temps are regularly still over 100 degrees, and the DA rarely drops below 4000 ft. Winter though, is beautiful! 40-50 degrees, 3-5% humidity, and a DA around actual altitude (1200 ft). Its awesome! A stage 2 car with exhaust trapped 107 last winter, thats what I trapped on pump gas during the summer!

Also, with gas prices sky rocketing near $5 a gallon... 101 octane race gas always remains $5.99 a gallon

 

I could NEVER survive in that heat, I need my snow!

 

The deser southwest isn't bad at all IMO, I like it. I was out there a few months back when it was 110-120 during the day while the humidity was practically nothing. It felt more comfortable out there than the shitty ass southeast with 95 degrees and 70-80% humidity.

 

yup, i was just in laughlin this weekend and it was hotter than ****. at least there is no humidity though

 

Yeah, its not as bad as most make it out to be. During the late summer it can get kinda bad, 115 degrees with 60% humidity, ugh it makes it difficult to breath its so hot. Luckily it doesn't get like that too often.

35-110 in third gear leaves me at 154 iat2 starting at 100. tvs ftw

 

move back to huntington. 75 all year round, haha

 

come try and survive 100 degrees up here in IN with 100% humidity....can't breathe

though it hardly gets to 100 here

 

Thats similar to my 2.6" w/ tons of intercooler mods

 

yeah thats on the 2.5 on the tvs, so it does the job well enough for now.

 

I love AZ but its ****** retarded when night feels exactly like day
