Mine is still in pretty darn good shape at 2.5 years old.
I can't complain really!

Interior is nearly flawless and the body only had a few small chips off the paint from rocks.
Not a ding on it! *knocks on wood*

Yea, the paint was perfect... no cats, no trees, no rocks, no retards leaning and scratching it...
When i get my Camaro SS, i'm 3M vinyling the whole cars painted surface. I have protection on my Cobalt already, on the nose, fronts of the fenders, rocker panels, a pillars, and a bit behind the rear wheels. But with so much gravel around here, rocks still cut through my 3M protection on the nose... At least i haven't hit anything, or anyone me...

got mine a bit over 3 months ago.

it's been washed 2x a week since, waxed almost every time i've washed it, quickdetailer every time i didn't wax. and i've only ever used brand new wash mitts and microfibers

i tell ya, black's a bitch to keep nice.

A few minor chips any one grocery cart later. Other than that she is still looking good. Claybar, scratch remover and nano wax FTW

You do know that washing/waxing quite often is actually pretty bad for your paint.

keep the waxes down to 2 weeks - 1 month. However, a paint sealer with a wax is safest.

Just gotta get my door ding taken care of, and get my front bumper re-painted from the hit and run incident that happened in my apt. complex parking lot, throw a fresh coat of wax on and she'll look as good as new.

Yea I miss the newness of mine . It still in awesome shape for a car with 80K miles and 3 years old and is still like brand new inside . Its not new car clean anymore working under it or suspension . Im pretty upset the places mine is already starting to rust , even though Im well outa warranty I may be talking to GM about it . Pretty much all the seams on the front frame rails and core support are starting to rust as well as the latch area under the trunk My 14 year old Z28 doesnt have a ounce of rust on it anywhere .

my car is only 5 or so months old. The only thing i dont like so far is some rock chips on my hood, and how my front fascia the paint isnt exactly smooth, there are some rock dents or something, anyone know how to smoothen them out. Or is repainting the only option. I wash my car once a week. and wax usually twice a month.

So was your car owned by someone and they had it in the SEMA show all the time or did the SEMA people own it and you bought it from them

just looked at a pic of my car the day after I brought her home. ((Sniff)) they grow up so fast! She's 7 months old and got 4000 miles on her now. She gets a hosing and a wipedown every weekend to keep the dust/bugs off, but only been soapy twice.
