BTW, I would actually prefer a turbo because of the potential. I just thought this was crazy as hell!

haha, rad. i totally identify with how much power a turbo gets, but theres something iconic about the blower... blowers are definitely sweeter on a classic hot rod.

 

this is neither here nore there, but why do people always say something looks photoshopped? Is there some kind of medal to be the first to debunk something? And then why when it is proven to be TRUE, do these same people STILL claim to be able to spot photoshopped fakes? I'm confused. Saw this here, with the neon mesh hood thread, my thread about holy **** handles.....weird.

I have a feeling that the car really is not that fast...

 

Because it blew the headgaskets at idle? Or because it lifted the tires off the ground when he blipped the throttle? Sense make, you do not.

 

i guess it could be fast if it made enough horsepower/tq, but I'd be really curious what the weight to power ratio is with that big of a blower on there. That thing has to weigh close to 5grand.

Let's hope he does it. He says in the video he wants to run it down the track someday. Still don't see how 5,000hp is slow, but thanks for the insult anyway.

I'm not saying the motor isn't making a crapload of power, it just looks like its built more for show and that it'd die a horrible death attempting to make it down the track.
