Bluelightning Feature Video (dyno+street pulls+racing)
I headed up to Canada this weekend to visit my good friend Dustin, or as we all know him on here, Bluelightning. We had a really good time messing around with the cars and going out on the town and doing hoodrat stuff
Met up with yellow dragon (Mike) as well and we fixed his issues as well! Well I brought some E85 up to blend with Dustin's 94 octane fuel and he was amazed at the difference it made even just mixed to ~E45. We even hit the rollers on a mustang dyno and got to play around a bit. The car seems to be out of turbo in the high rpms, as it will hold 27 lbs in the mid range but taper to 21 by redline, and its even down to 22 psi at peak hp, so this thing just wants some more flow!
Anyways, Sunday night we went out cruising not expecting to find anything since it was really cool out, but we ended up running into a few other guys with a turbo 2.4 cobalt, Lancer, and Evo X. We are BS'ing when this kid pulls up in an Impala SS asking if someone wanted to race, and called out the Evo, and I said "**** you could run the cobalt". Here is how that went lol:
Him: "That's not even a race, I want something worthwhile"
Me - troll mode engaged: "Hundred bucks?"
Him: "What's done to it?"
Dustin: "Its all stock"
Him: *looks at me* "Is it really stock?"
Me: "Its his car. Its got a GM Stage 2 which is a factory warrantied option, a GMPP clutch, and a cut air box"
Him: "I don't know about for cash, but I'll do it. I've never lost to a Cobalt"
So we head out to a prime racing road, and shot the race in the end of the vid
He was cool afterward, and then he raced the Evo X that had bolt ons and a tune, probably making low-mid 300's whp range and they were about dead even.
Had a great weekend and got some good footage of some fun car stuff, so ENJOY THE VIDEO

Well he was dead even with a bolt on and tuned Evo X, and with a solid tune those usually make abut 330-360whp on pump gas on the stock turbo, just for comparison. This one didn't seem as quick, but with any sort of tune he should be at least 300whp with a turboback. He said the Impala just had exhaust, I didn't ask too many questions haha just trolled.

Didn't wanna come out swinging and saying it makes 400+whp. It's always more fun to downplay a car than to talk it up. I downplay my car every chance I get lol. Wish I would have recorded the dialogue, it was awesome
The other guys were just looking at me like "wtf is he doing" trolling hard lol.

I tried to help him out while he was running a trifecta tune but iirc the local trifecta guy wasn't so stoked to aquiesse...

His final TVS setup was never dyno'd, but on the race gas + meth tune it should have been in the 365-375whp range, as it ran right next to mine. On this mustang dyno it would have probably made in the 340-350whp range, but no way of telling exactly.
Oh yeah the guys we were talking to had heard about the car, and Dustin had met one of the before.

As Taylor said I never got my motor to stay together long enough to dyno it with the TVS. But on race gas Taylor and I were neck and neck so probably around the 370 range. And probably like 350 on pump gas and meth.
Sounds like the full out TVS would have been a good run for me

I agree. The E85 ported head or your race gas+meth ported head setup would pull the setup on Kevin's car I'm quite sure. Kevin you would probably be a damn good run with my friend Trevor's E85 stock head TVS car that makes about 350whp.
I'd love to run Trevor but I won't be making any drives down that way until next year where I will no longer have this setup and Taylor if you think I'll drive down to E85 country without trying it myself.... you must still be drunk! I wanna try e47 so bad!!
