Brought home new member to my chevy family

2009 Colorado crew cab with 90k on it. Paint is somehow flawless. Better than my SS paint when I got It at 25000. 4x4 and towing/offroad package. Also a Canadian market vehicle just like my SS. What are the odds...

Definitely glad that I now have a rig I can take to go shooting on logging roads and generally not worry about every bump or pothole.

Cab rack and linex bed liner to come.

5cyl. 8cyl doesn't come in 4x4. My work truck is the same model but not as lifted so I knew they were great little trucks.

Paint is a black metallic. Just as sparkly/shiny as my crystal red metallic.

I am seriously debating a 4 door z71 colorado or a nissan frontier nismo. All the cts vs and tbss are junk.

I've driven my work truck (07 colorado crew cab 4x4) for six summers and it has never given me any problems other than some squeaky front brakes that the city motor vehicles shop refuses to fix for me (park ranger truck). That's what made me want to get one for myself. Make sure to get a 07 or newer. The 04-06 engines had some head problems and are less on power.

Expect near the same quality on the interior (actually a bit better than the cobalt).

You can get 4wd with a V8. That should make a great daily though.

Huh, I could have sworn I read it was only 2wd, but now that I'm searching I do see that they exist but are few and far between. The 5 cyl offers plenty of umph for me (not going to own a boat or large tow behind item). I've towed quite a few stalled heavy vehicles with my work truck.

I don't think it'll be a true DD because my cobalt gets 28mpg average and the truck gets 21 hwy.
