Looking good. Being in college does suck ass when trying to mod. I've managed to gather enough money for my CAI, halos, and a GMPP exhaust.

Where'd you get your antenna? Looks like one of the nicest ones I've seen. Don't see many "normal" ones around.
Oh yeah, the car looks really nice. I really hope for '08 they change the grille from the louvers to a mesh of some kind. That's the only thing I really don't like about the design of our cars. Especially on the black ones, the plastic fins don't even match the paint. Looks real cheap IMO.

Ha, it could be worse. Looks fine in the pics. At least you didn't have a construction company get white epoxy overspray on your car (while it was parked in a college student parking lot), then have the const. company send you to some hack who tried to claybar it off, scratching the hell out of the paint, and after about two trips to the Chevy body shop, still not have it in the condition it was when you bought it. (Do you sense a little bitterness?) Finally I think the dealership is going to repaint the worst scratched body panels, but its been a few months of pain for me everytime I wash it. I just can't wait until summer when I can detail it myself and do it right. It is very difficult to find someone that knows how to detail a black car. Not even the Chevy dealership can do it!?!?

That is generally my attitude as well, but I knew that the amount of polishing/sanding required to get the epoxy off would most likely damage the clearcoat, and I wanted some kind of warranty or a new paint job, that's why I took it to the dealer bodyshop.

Hopefully by summer break all will be fixed, and I can put some red stripes on this bad boy and post up some pics for everyone. I don't believe I've seen any yet w/ that color combo. I'm also going to do the Meguiar's swirl remover on the whole car once I get it back from the dealer.

I know the feeling, i had 20% tint, a cannon ball muffler, and decals on the side for my old car clubs. I got pulled over for other ****, just never for tint. But that was up in WA, CA is completely different.

Hey Beck i think you said you go to Sierra right? I've yet to see your car there yet.
