Car meets deer meets tree..

And the result? A broken heart.

Friday night I was traveling on a back road and a deer bolts out of no where. I see the deer as it hits my fender, and unfortunately I react and lose control, hitting a tree head-on. I walked away from it with a sore wrist, bruised lower back, and a shattered heart. I'll miss my Cobalt...

o and you definately need a new driver mod. In referance to the 1/4 mile time.

I probably hit going 40mph? The shifter didn't pop off, that was the body shop guy looking at the damage, I suppose. I know I am really lucky. I am in the market for another SS now, I am pretty sure this one is going to the boneyard.

Very sorry to hear this and I'm very glad your ok for the most part.

I'm glad to see your airbags deployed. On the RL's its VERY common that they do NOT deploy no matter what.

it looks like both
notice the supercharger is behind the intake
the top part of the fender pushed it all the way back

but the engine definitely did move back

So, since you hit a tree after you hit a deer... Is insurance going to cover the entire damage done to the car?
