What's the big secret?

 

Last dyno was 685 AWHP, built motor, PPG, and GT35r soon to be a GT40r. It also weighs 3200 pounds.

It was a full bolt-on cammed Z06. He has trapped 150mph in the 1/4 in the subaru. That car is not one to **** around with lol.

 

Sounds like me and him would be a good run this spring then

i dont know exact on the dyno. but its definetly 600+

 

Also full coilover set up, sway bars, etc. That thing is glued to the road in turns, his wheels are 18X9.5's I think wrapped with 265's. He is going wider though.

 

Yes the new motor is in, it's being broken in Get's a re-tune after 1500 miles. Then it gets to sit at my work, where I get to take it to lunch and drive it around whenever I please hahah.

 

Wider's ALWAYS better ...

His car sounds awesome though, would love to have the chance to see it and run it some day. There's a lot of subies and subie lovers around here but no subies making that kind of power. Fastest one around is running a GT35 set up on E85 running about 600whp.

Yeah I don't think he'll go too wide though, he needs to be able to turn haha. This is the car's 4th motor, and it should last a while, it has like titanium everything haha. He beats on that car allllllll the time. And it sounds sooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooo good.

Nice, is he running a C16 or E85 set up?

Like the sleeper effect with the hood but the wing took that away

The matte black also screams "I'M FAST!" in a way. Can't wait to see the finished product.

He'll probably go over to E-85, but he's just on 91octane. A lot of the work was done at a shop around here in SD called GT Garage, they've done a lot of nice cars. Closest E-85 station though is 23 miles away lol. Sooo I don't know if that'll happen. But I'm pretty sure it's going to turn into a full-out race car. He has a daily driver so the subaru will sit with me for most of the time.

 

Nice, He's probably got 130-170whp in that car if he switches to E85.

Friend of mine switched from C16 to E85 and picked up 60whp on a GT35.

 

Yeah I told him to just buy some drums of it and keep them handy lol. That's what he'll probably end up doing. He's always changing his mind with that car. It's got so much money into it it's ridiculous. I don't even like thinking about it lol but it sure is fun! Especially with the AEM anti-lag, sounds like a shot gun going off every few seconds lol.

 

Oh my gawd that subie is ******* sexy. I like the white over the matte black though. I wish i could feel the torque in that thing

 

I like the white too, I think he should do matte white, but seeing it matte black is sooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooo nice. When the wing is off hehe.

Damn, matte white would be so sick. You start to see more cars matte black, i have yet to see matte white. White just looks cleaner i think. My favorite color on an sti and evo.

 

I'll try to find some good vids, I know he has a **** ton. I have one of him at an 1/8th mile track, but it really doesn't do it justice as it was only at about 400awhp at the time.

He wraps cars, well now actually is starting to make money off it. He said he'd wrap my car, I was thinking of matte white lol.

I'm not sure if he has a vid of that or not, but he had 3 passengers, and it was just one dude in teh Z06, he was pissed. Whenever we're out in that car, no joke mustangs, camaros, chargers, challengers, etc always make a point to cut us off LOL. I love it.

He does, we were sitting at a left turn lane and had no clue this new m3 stopped right behind us, right on his ass. Well he got on his anti-lag and I could see the entire road behind us light up and I was like "omg there's a car right behind you" The M3 which was once white, was black pretty much and the owner looked pissed haha.
