Car's i've tinted lately, 1st NEW CAMARO today, Yay!!!
So i'm a gm tech by day, but i tint cars in the evenings and weekends. I recently closed my shop and started working from my garage at my house, (The tint shack, lol...) It's been going really well and no big shop overhead... Been taking pictures of some of the cars i've done in the last few weeks. Here ya gooo... Did my first new camaro this evening... I'll let the pics tell the rest...
This thread is pretty much pointless, just thought i would share some pics of my work with my friends at css.net and establish myself as the tint guy, lol... Thanks for looking... Sorry mods for wasteing bandwidth...

Thanks man, here's an SRT caliber i did a few month ago...
Alot, lol... I've tinted a couple thousand cars. It was quite a learning curve, lol... I had already established myself with my storefront shops so getting customers to come to my home hasn't been to hard...

Yes, actually i can make them look just like the rest of the glass, it's really in the preperation technique. But don't get too upset with your tinter, it's really not his fault that gm is in love with dots. They do make for some extra work, but i have pretty much perfected my technique with this problem and don't have to many issues anymore...
As for your current situation, once it's tinted and dried like that, there's really no way to repair it or make it look better. It has to be redone and properly prepped to make it actually stick...
Here's a pic of my cobalt and i wouldn't say it's perfect, but pretty good. I've actually gotten even better with them since i did mine, but i have'nt got around to redoing mine yet, lol...

Professional quality film. I like suntek, but most pro shops offer quality tint, just stay away from autoparts store or walmart tint!!!
FLAPPING??? WTF???
Didn't you get a warranty with it? Take that **** back tell em you want it fixed, jees!!! Lol...

looks good. Wish when I did mine it would look that good. How do you keep it from peeling around the top? Do you leave the window rolled down and let the tint sit before you roll them back up, because after tinting mine I roll it up and it shoves it down some.

I can deal with them no problem, it's all in how the tinter does it, it has to be shrank properly, then the dot area must be extremely clean, i even will use heat on the real stubborn ones...

I will tell you this, if you think you can purchase pro film and install it without any previous experience installing tint and have a good outcome, you are most likely wrong...Tintin aint easy, lol...
You wouldn't believe how many people around me buy precut tint and and try to install it, only to bring the car to me to have me do it over again, and their kit goes to waste cause i won't install anything but my tint, lol...
