Ok, 1st of all. Blue + Black is Hot. Black + Red is so overdone is rediculous. Black and red is nice, but you see it all the time. Blue and black is just as nice. Apparently none of the haters of Ben's car attend car shows, or even just go to them to look around. Put a Cobalt in a car show, lowered, wingless, debadged, and park it, and watch everyone walk past it. Yea your **** might be "clean" but give people some credit for customizing the look of their car and not just making it plain and simple. He put alot of work in his car and its sad that no1 on a cobalt forum can say anything positive

Just the fact some1 said blue + black = fail proves my point that if you dont got it, its gay or rice. I guess all black balts should look exactly the same to be good.

Personally, I would'nt've done the flames, tach, or blue-n-black.. But if he likes it, who cares? I'm all about creativity and making it your own.. I just wouldn't do it to MY car, that's all.. But he gets a thumbs up for creativity on the flames.. They can either look really good or really bad.. They look really good, but agreed that flames on a Cobalt is kinda silly..

sooo i may be new to the black ss community. i have my victory red ss right now that im trading in straihg tup for a black one, just bc ive always wanted black lol. im taking my recaros with me too, the new black one also has the red rear seats and door inserts. what do you guys think? i hope i dont have nightmares about missing my red one

Thanks man. I'm going for the clean look. I had a few set of 18's on there, but they looked too big for the car (especially after I pulled the spoiler). I like the IRL wheels design and sizing. If anything I might get them sprayed a low-gloss black eventually. But this is how the car is going to look from now on aside from the t/c mesh grille set and s/c front lip in a month or so. Can't wait to see it come together.
