CF engine covers

I have been working with Chaser Aerodynamics to make CF engine covers for the Cobalts. Well, I finally have the first run of them in my hand. They were made using the vacuum process, and are extremely thin yet strong. They just fit on over your factory covers. As of this moment, I am the only non-SS cobalt in the country (to my knowledge atleast) with all carbon fiber engine covers. Let me know what you guys think. They will be for sale, and you can buy the parts seperately. If interested in more information, send me a PM. Don't think the site will let me post sales information for companies unless they are a supporting vendor.

Get them to be a supported vendor, or find one to stock this stuff and get it out QUICK!!

Also I believe (not positive) that the 2.2 and 2.4 covers are exactly the same

I haven't noticed a difference. I was afraid of the same thing, so when I went to Charlotte this weekend I kept a close eye on the engine temp.

Do you think you could get them to do the fuel rail covers for the LSJs?

Good initiative Plur13.

Can you still install the red cover on the positive-post on the fuse box? You want to protect that post....

I'm pretty sure you can, but not sure cause mine doesn't have one anymore

I can try and find out for you.

And just so ppl know, this company is willing to work with me on making other things for our cars, as long as these engine covers start to sell. If anyone has any suggestions how to make these better, how much they feel is a reasonable price, etc please let me know cause we are still working on those things. And these were made with vacuum infusion to make them extremely thin and strong for better fitment than normal hand laid CF
