Yeah, they make them with the intergrated signals, but im not a fan of them myself.

 

Apparently you've never seen the way something without a tough textile or leather rips to shreds on the street. Nothing is going to save you from a rough "impact" other than a helmet, but good gear will help keep you from rashing to the bone, which I imagine would be 1000x worse than almost any broken bone. But that's all you man, I can't make you do something just because i'd do it that way, ha.

 

Well leathers saved my life. I went down doing 90, I would have been skinned alive. Full race leathers, shoei rf-1000, my race boots, and full length leather gloves...

On the street I don't wear all that, bare minimum jeans, my leather/textile jacket, CF gloves, and boots...

 

Senior year highschool i bought my cousins Ducati 999 and one day after school was out heading downtown , had 3 other bikers with me, Approaching an exit ramp and some idiot in a Civic lost Control and side swiped me, I had AlpineStar jacket and Jeans, Totaled the bike into 7 Diff pieces and i walked away with some very very minor cuts and scraps, So you get lucky sometimes and sometimes you dont...have lost 3 Family members on Bikes so i know the Heart ach when it comes to that
