changes to my cobalt!
this spring, my cobalt went under the knife... well, not really all I did was the paint but here it is.
BEFORE:
DURING:
AFTER:
now I'm debating if I should put a ¼ inch silver stripe along the colour separation to make it more obvious, sometimes when the sun hits it a certain way, you don't even notice the 2 colours :P What you guys think?
Next step sometime this summer; lowering kit
PS: i'm painting that front chevy logo black as we speak... 2nd coat is drying now.

ty, had those for a while now... had to make a design in them cuz law here says you can't cover reflectors in the lightsl; couldn't make em solid black.
it's the same GM laser blue, used the colour code from the VIN but there's thicker paint on, makes it darker :P here's what it would look like with the line

tinting the windows is also planned, I just started me small business doing just that, but I want to practice on other people's cars before I do mine :P lol...
as for the drop, I KNOW... tired of driving a tractor. I'll look into the stripe tomorrow

not with my budget just that laser blue paint is a crazy 178$/litre (about 710$/gallon) and I lost my job after having started sanding it so it cut the projects short :P drop is planned, tinted windows, new mags/tires, lambo doors, S/C and other performance stuff I didn't look into yet but now all those will have to wait until I get a new job, pay the late bills and put some aside.
this picture shows a bit more how shiny it is

yep I did... I didn't wetsand the entire car after the paint, waiting for it to get harder first... no wax or anything on it either.
I did my mags this weekend and got a couple shots of it all done.
