remember kiddies.

"anti-lag" is impossible on a fixed cam head.

a "boost builder" however, is possible.

LSJ is fixed cam.

LNF is not.

the ability to phase the cam(s) is critical in a "true" anti-lag.

humm...i always thought it was just a process of retarding igniting(alot , like 40 or more degrees) and fating up the mixture as to cause a kind of back fire event that would keep the turbo spooled. you could advanced the exhaust timing but im pretty sure there is no such variable cam head that can advance or retard timing 40+ or - degrees.

now on to the anti lag...isnt his car still supercharged ...how would anti lag work in that case? or did he go turbo i missed that post lol.

hes still got a blower on it, i think he used this more for a "cool" factor.

however, anti lag is both a negative advance in order to fire the spark out the exhasut valve but also a phase of the exhasut cam as to meet the plug firing event dead on and actually "push" the spark and its flame front out the head and into the turbine housing.

thus causing massive EGT's violent "combustion" events and hella-awesome turbo spool.

this is more a boost builder as its more a controlled misfire event.

its an absolute minimal differance from a hardware standpoint, but the effects of each are rather different.
