do you guys think chevrolet would ever bring the cobalt ss back and if so would it look like any of the concepts below?

 

The front isn' bad looking, from the side idk looks like a cut up corvette lol

I don't think Chevy would take it out again and if they did it wouldn't be called a cobalt imo

 

That just looks like an Opel Tigra to me.

Cobalt specifically...no. Performance sport compact? Probably. Im hoping they get in gear and do a 2.0tc version of the cruze hatch myself to compete with rs and st focus. I doubt we will ever see a awd sport compact though.

Yeah I was really hoping to see a verano gs and maybe a co-developed Cruze ss. But i think those are pipe dreams and I couldn't imagine a 35k Cruze.

 

why chevy hasn't dropped the 2.0 in the cruze RS, added some other goodies like sport seats/suspension and called it an SS is beyond me I would buy one, the cruze is a great looking car

Hell Drop the 2.0, recaro's, sport suspension, LSD and a nice 6 speed in the sonic and call it the SuperSonic, this **** sells itself who the hell is doing marketing at GM anyways??

 

haha agreed i mean they put the 2.0 turbo in the new camaro and a few other vehicles so not sure why they havent done that

 

They got part way there... 1.4L turbocharged engine and 6-speed manual transmission but only 138HP

I wonder if the turbo is as small as the IHI I put on my SR50?

I don't believe GM has put the LTG into a FWD car yet. I'm guessing they don't want to develop an automatic transmission for it.
