some girl that went to my high school driving drunk rolled it 4 times and then slammed into a telephone pole at about 55mph, she crawled out somehow and crawled home which happend to only be three houses away. shes fine

 

all i have to say, basically is, i feel bad for the car, not the girl....not only is she stupid enough to drive dunk, but she totals a brand new car....thank god her carelessness didnt hurt anybody else

This car is safe as hell man, I got into a much more minor accident, but I didnt get hurt what so ever. I didnt even feel it. But that is the most stupid thing I have ever heard of, driveing home drunk. I would rather like call my mom and tell her im drunk as hell before I would ever drive home drunk.

 

Man that sucks. Did she get a DUI? That car is pretty EFFFED up. I would definitely beat my daughters ass for pulling that ****.

 

Well just thank God she is alright, and didn't injure or kill someone else with her stupidity.

The Parents are idiots giving a kid the car - she's damn lucky she didn't kill someone else. She should lose her license because she has no SENSE beit common or not. Pathetic, but thanks to great engineering she's alive.

just a matter of time till the police investigates what happened. a car just doesn't roll 4 times on it's self so i'm sure she will get caught and i hope they lock her up and make sure she never drives in her life.

only 3 houses away - DANG, she almost made it. Drinking & driving should = lost license for life. Then maybe folks would get the hint.

 

Holy hell...that Cobalt held up as well as my friend's Volvo did when he rolled it 3 times after avoiding a deer...Wolfman said it well this car seems to be very safe ! I have occasionally questioned my decision to not go with the curtain air bags because I REALLY didn't want OnStar but the Cobalt seems to have held up extremely well in almost all the collisions we've seen on the forums so far. GM engineering should be commended on their attention to safety which a lot of cars have skimped on in the past.

Judging by how low the roof line now is as a result of the roll it's a miracle she didn't get knocked unconcious...though I guess if she was drunk she would have been more limber than a sober driver...that seems to be the reason drunk drivers somehow manage to come out of these wrecks alive more so than not.

Glad to hear she's ok and didn't harm anyone else in the process...even if you make a dumb choice by driving drunk I still wouldn't wish death upon anyone. I really hope she gets some stiff punishment though, she definitely deserves it...hopefully she's learned her lesson though more often than not it doesn't seem to be the case. She definitely doesn't deserve to be driving any car let alone a brand new Cobalt if she feels she can...as Dan said what a waste of a nice car.

Damn this is the 7th cobalt crash ive seen and no matter how bad it gets! the ****** drivers walk out ALIVE!!!, haha, damn safe cars, but lets just try not to wreck them everybody,some are accidents, some are just stupidity.
