A friends father builds Pro Mod dragsters, he's been dealing only with superchargers for years and to get into the turbo game is building his personal car with twin 88mm turbos, should be making about 4k or more when all said and done on a 526 cubic inch block that needs to be rebuilt every few runs. These cars are running under 4 in the eight at over 200 and mid to high 5's in the quarter at over 250. These cars weight almost nothing and sitting in one it seemed so unsafe even though they survive crashes at 200+
This was one of the cars he built (right one) in 20+ years he only had two crashes until last year where there was eight alone. I can't find the other video I'm looking for but another car lost control and rammed the car he built (that was in the shop being fixed) into a wall and where the driver sits the wheelie bar broke through the door. Luckily no one was hurt.

His only injuries were a few broken bones in his hand because his hand hit against one of the metal bars which according to this friend is now fixed (padding on everything that your hands can hit maybe?).
