They are actually blue, it just the over exposure makes them look purple.

This is straight off the camera, no editing. It is my Canon T2i with a 50mm lens. I had it set up on a tripod at 11 at night with a 30 second shutter speed.

Oh well then thank you, but in the LS there is a dome light and no map lights. But it is still hard to find crap that falls on the floor.
