Corvette Update
The Colorado's are nice, but nothing beats a good ol' Dirtymax. I'd really hate to see how miserable Cali emissions are out there on diesels, but I'd strongly suggest something pre-emissions if you can get away with it. The LB7-LBZ trucks never came equipped with the PDF systems, so they can't give you a hard time for not having the systems to begin with. Anything 07.5 and up (LMM and LML) is what you'd be looking to avoid if you went that route. From what I understand, doing an emissions system delete out there is BIG time fines if you get caught. It's just easier to get a setup that doesn't have to deal with the headache of it all, plus the terrible fuel mileage that comes with it and the stress it puts on engine components.

Fair enough. Just know that diesel emissions laws and gas emissions laws are very different, as well are the fines involved. I'm just trying to give helpful advice to a new potential diesel owner in a very restrictive state. Good luck to you.
