You should never drive or get on a plane either. Also, there could be radon in a building, so you should live outside. But then a tree might fall on you...

It is incredibly sad what has happened to this girl. I truly feel for her and hope science will find a way to help her. It's one of those things though that you wonder, if she had caught the real flu, would she have suddenly contracted this disease as well?

It is actually pretty subjective as to whether that is a cause of autism. Every baby gets flu shots, and when a baby is autistic they blame it on that. There is no real evidence for it yet. It "may" be linked though. Do some research on it... I for one, will not get a vaccination though.. I am healthy and feel my immune system is up for a challenge.

This reminds me of kids getting the penicilin shot and becoming autistic...

The flu isnt going to kill me. Okay, i get sick for a couple weeks.. i can deal with it.

Getting sick and having your body fight it off allows your immune system to strengthen, and not die from stupid little **** like the flu..

I should of known I would read a post like this on css.net. This is one of the only forums I go to that has childish and immature post/threads. Sometimes I think the world would be better off if people like you would have something happen, that you can no longer type or talk.

No she would not of. It is a shame that most of us grow up believing the Bull **** fed to us in schools and by doctors. There are so many natural ways to deal with sickness that is much better then the current way we do things. Drug companies make billions of dollars off society. If people would live the correct way, eat right and exercise and stay away from drugs everyone's genetics would be much stronger. I hope I don't get sick after I type this lol but, I have not been sick for over 2 years. It is quite easy to boost your immune system with certain foods and natural supplements.

I feel so bad for that girl, but she has more character then most of us. What a tough personality to show herself on TV and fight to get better.

I'm going on 9 years myself... the only thing that gets me is my allergies like once or twice a year... but even those have been getting better lately... I have always felt that the flu shot was just some sort of scam, and I haven't had one since I left school, 8 years ago, and I haven't been sick since...

Probably not, you don't know that, but people do develop major problems from normal illness.. I agree with you people would probably be better off if they lived the "correct way". I also agree with you that drug companies want to make money off of scared people, but so do those immune system booster "Alternative medicine" movement people. It involves just as much bullshit. People have lead the public to believe they need a lot more than they do.. A whole bunch of vitamin C isn't going to do the same thing that serious antibiotics could do. Most people get plenty of everything they need. The human body is resilient, it makes most of what it needs. We are animals and are developed to deal with some lack of diet, we don't need 4000% of Vitamin ZZ14.. Know what I mean? People are affected differently.. You are going to die or you aren't, it is written in your genes and a little bit of chance.

The flu can kill you. Getting a vaccine is what gets your body to fight it off and your immune system to strengthen.

the flu isnt dangerous to people who have a good immune system. I personally never get sick.

In fact, the last time I remember puking was from alcohol, not from being sick. I laugh at the flu virus.
