I'm seeing exposed carbon fiber that people probably put on when it was cool that's now falling apart beacuse it wasn't coated right and the sun is beating it up. That's why the good stuff is expensive. I like the "sleeper" look too, but it's hard to argue that an Evo can be considered a sleeper at all. I debadged my ss/tc and I love it!

Agreed about what happens to CF, but first of all i made sure to get the best quality and then had a body shop re-clear it to make sure it didn't fade. At least for the cobalt anyway. Learned about what happened to hood on the Scion tC

And you're right about the evo, can't really make it a "sleeper."

and he has 315hp in a scion
cc08 still has <200 in a cobalt

 

But CC08 wasn't lookin' for power. He just had a couple blue wires that people bitched at him for. Honestly, I'm not a fan of Scions, so I don't like it, but I just don't see the point at harassing CC08's car when this Scion has a big spoiler on it. Just my opinion.

 

The scion is ugly sorry...hood pins and that spoiler...the other cars are nice though

I also hate scions. The assclowns that drive them are annoying as ****.

 

I'll admit the wing was a bit much, the pins were necessary though for the hood. It was double-sided CF, so it was extremely light. It would flap up and down while driving.

Got rid of it and got a gsr model instead. Tranny can handle a lot more than the 6-spd.

 

GOOD CHOICE. The 5 speed in the IX is excellent.
