No car payments...she is paid off.
Paid $32K out the door. Payments were $570 financed at like 3.x % (bought her in May 03). Insurance is around $120 a month (multi car discount, car is a "4 door", married, 25 yrs old).
Maintenance? Well, you have to run Mobil 1, which is a little more than regular oil. I ran Mobil in my Sunfire, but I just wanted to tell you straight up. I paid a little over $200 at my 15K mile service for tranny/diff fluid change. Other than that, not much really.
But keep in mind, if you go to replace say, the rotors, you are looking at $200 a piece and $218 for 2 brake pads (Brembo). So most people go aftermarket for cheaper anyway...

so if you went and financed it, including insurance, it would cost you $700/mo. thats only $200 more than what I am paying for my cobalt, lmao. insurance = $170/mo (19yrsold, 2dr, under parents name, about 10 discounts) otherwise it would be $350 if i lived on my own.
I seriously am looking forward to owning an evo mr, sti, or g35. it really sucks to be 19 years old, even though I make $30,000/yr , my credit score is still not even there.
