Fell Asleep At The Wheel

got 3 hours of sleep the previous night and had to work at 5 am. left my house at 4, radio off for once, cruize control on and fell asleep and drifted into a guard rail.....

well they ****** changed the whole plants hours. i was on 2nd shist workin 3pm-11pm mon-fri now im on weekend workin fri sat sun 5am-530pm

Glad you're not hurt. I've driven before with little to no sleep before, but I never let myself consider falling asleep. A good caffeinated beverage, or even a good hefty slap to the face (by yourself or others) will wake you right up.

ya i usually will have my music on drinkin a mountain dew roll down the window or something but i didnt 1 time and what happens? well you know..... anyone who wants a little lesson on body work will post pics as i fix

When I drive on little/no sleep, I always drink a caffeinated beverage and blast some hardcore rock. No chance of falling asleep.

I've never fallen asleep but my dad did once. While returning to his lab from N. Mississippi, he nodded off and woke up 2 hours later, still driving, about 100 miles in the wrong direction.

And as everyone else says, someone's really looking out for you.

ive fallen asleep at the wheel before...it SUCKS...although i totalled the jeep i was in.
you wont fall asleep again in the future...just getting close will scare the **** outa you

this is why i'm scared to go to work. i get up at 4:30-5am mon-fri and drive 45 minutes to work on a 70mph speedlimit highway. but we don't have any gaurdrails.
