Damn lots of hate in this thread. Congrats on the purchase, I love S2ks and hope to own one some day. The only thing I really don't like is that hardtop. I think it's too over the top for such a little car. There is an S2k at my college with a hardtop that is the same size of the softtop. I think its an option in Japan or something. By me there are alot of high HP S2Ks, most being procharged.

A good nitrous setup will cost close to a grand, then you will have to fill up the bottle every time you take it out. Around here it costs close to $50 to fill a 10 pound bottle. I'd spend the money on coilovers because that car was built to turn, not go in a straight line. Then boost it because s2k's are pretty slow when compared to modern sports cars.

Now if you have a built V8 in a track car and you are trying to hit 9's, then nitrous is a great power adder. That just my opinion. Do what you want with your car.

 

Mine cost 500 dollars. Even though it comes with a 10lb bottle, I bought a 20lb bottle off ebay for 150 dollars shipped. I would use it every weekend and fill up every month to month and a half. It cost 70 dollars for 20lbs of nitrous for me. It does add up, but trust me, I miss it.

 

A NA 4 cylinder in the Honda pushes it faster than a 6 cylinder z4, 6 cylinder Boxster, 99-04 mustang, s197 mustangs, supercharged 2.2L chevy cobalts, and many other cars.

 

Nitrous is the best bang for the buck in straight line speed, and unless you are Paul walker you don't have to fill it up every time you go out
