Haha, thanks for posting, that video is hilarious. I remember seeing it about a year ago, but then the host went down and I hadn't see it since.
Its great how they got the kid and his friend driving a riced out import, apparently "street racing" in broad daylight with no other cars around. He mentions that they are being chased by the cops, even though there are no cops in sight. Then the driver misses the 3-4 shift and hits 2nd instead, somehow causing him to lose control on a completely straight road
BTW does anyone know how to download this vid from the host?? I can watch it fine, but I can't seem to find a way to save it to my computer.

Perhaps it is a farse. I mean think about it. They were 'running from the cops' yet there's no cops around. I saw him look down at the shifter before he shifted. Then they both exagerrated bouncing around while skidding. If his engine hit max rev for that long, it wouldn't be responsive and revving like it was afterwards. I think he kept the clutch in and revved it and then skidded sideways. Perhaps a cheap way to promote the site to get more traffic.

a 'cheap' way to get traffic to the site ? wrecking a car doesnt classify as a 'cheap' expense in my opinion
For someone to actually lose control on a very straight road though... must be a bad driver...
I mean REALLY bad...
If you want to download the vid to your PC, try right-clicking the following link and chose "save link as" or "save target as" (or similar option depending on your web browser).

There is no way in hell that car has enough torque to cause him to lose control like that, that and it's a FWD . I wonder if this isn't a farce if he panicked because he hit 2nd (or totally missed a gear all together?) and then somehow randomly turned the wheel like 3 times ? I'm thinkin' he was paying too much attention to clutch in clutch out and caught the shoulder of the road, that could explain a spin-out on the downshift .

I see it! I see it! When he down shifted into the lower gear the torque steer made him dodge in the left, he compensated by over steering HARD to the right (you can see everything go left then hard right) and caused him to fishtail, he doesn't have ABS, he screwed things up worse for himself when he locked his wheels up - you can hear that. What a newb, put your hand back on the wheel before you let the clutch out!.
