its my friends not mine. it was like 4k for the GC8 and 10k for the whole crashed STI. keep in mind the motor only had like 3800 miles on it.

Hell of a deal IMO. Have fun with that build. Going to build up internals etc in the mean time or just a swap?

He's making a two door STI? SWEET!!!

The GC8 should be a lot of fun once you get everything swapped over. Poor poor STI, looks like it was rallied into a light pole. I always preferred the look of the older cars.

basically lol, the driver was incompetant and took a turn so fast and slid into a tree then almost rollled beack into a house. to give you an idea how sharp the turn and how fast he was i think at like 80mph +/- on a dry 90* summer day with the sticky tires and still slid out.

Those GC8's haul absolute ass with the STi swap. It's a shame that wiring in the motor is the worst part.

EDIT: 300awhp stock? Yeah, no freaking **** it was a factory freak..... They usually dyno around 250.

lets see a dyno sheet, theres no way in hell a stock STI dynoed 300awhp. they dyno around 250awhp stock.

You are wrong...... I work for Subaru(SOA) and every once in a great while we do have a factory freak come out of production.

Nice car

I have a 98RS coupe w.02 WRX swap. I ran a 13.0 @ 107 w/stg 2 mods and my flash. I just recently threw a 20G, 800cc, FMIC etc... on it. Haven't been back to the track yet tho.

The mechanical portion of the swap is really simple. Took me 2 days doing it alone. Just make sure you use the front crossmember from the STI!! The wiring...well...messy :P

Thats fine. as a matter of fact i havent seen a dyno sheet. the guy that crashed it told us, and is still looking for the sheet. There where a few people that claimed to see it so i took there word for it. and the dyno's not broken, its a very accurate dyno
