An SS, is still a Cobalt.

It isn't like some UPPER ECHELON OF ******* LEETNESS.

A wing doesn't make or break the trims.

The engine does.

The brakes

The suspension.

Not the wing.

Ok here we go,
-I personally like the big ol' wing. It makes my car look different from the 92834728934 other cobalts that only cost 10k new in my county. I especially liked yours Gestapo. You should look into getting a cf center piece to the wing if you ever decided to put it back on. This would be kind of hard though since the sides of the spoiler would need to be painted yellow to make it look right.

-I also wondered about how much better mileage you would get without the huge air trap high rise.

-This will be better for when the cops get right on your tail. I don't know how many times I've looked back to see a cop right behind me when i was doing 80+ on the interstate. It's scary as **** because you know he wants to pull you over and I can't afford any tickets.

-I like the pinstripe. Thought about doing it to mine but it would clash with the stripes fa sho. So I think I'm just going to put some company names in matching flat black along the rocker panels just to break up the bland sides a little.

Hmm, I think the key word was look. Did I miss something? Pretty sure I didn't say it will make your SS perform like a LT. Nevermind though it's just my opinion calm down kid.

 

I actually saw an improvement in milage on my 06SS/SC when I removed the wing...

I enjoy it when young people call other young kids... kid! ha ha

 

I agree, the wing makes it different. People who take it off to be different just blend into the millions of balts out there.

Gestapo, how you're talking about doing the ss really faint in the lower grille, I think you should make a stencil and paint the grille black and then do the ss with just like one quick spray of yellow. That way it's there but doesn't stand out too much. It would really work with your color scheme.

 

yea i was thinking about that. wish i had a paint gun and i put put gloss black and then drip a bit of yellow in it

i did. wanted to do a carbon fiber hood and on the sides of the hood i wanted to keep it yellow. If you know what im talking about. The middle part carbon and the sides yellow
