Thats great. First off a Gixxer shouldnt be a 1st bike. especially a GSXR 750 or 1,000. And i guess the dude didnt like his girl.

people in the replys say its new slick tires, and pavement, and i guess to much throttle or clutch dumpage..

 

Ok i will give him that stock tires are much slicker than used tires. Something about how the tires are made create like a slick coating on top of the rubber. But I'm thinking clutch dumpage too. Because if he didnt dump the clutch he could have atleast yanked it back in to settle the bike. But either way this guy should have learned to ride a motorcycle before buying one.

I mean i know how to ride a motorcycle and i still bought a Kawasaki Ninja 250. Money was an issue here and the bike looks almost identical to a 600r or 1000. For the exception of the exhausts.

Having a bike of my own, I thought of two things. One is the new tires people have been talking about. You have to break them in and get the waxxy stuff off of them before they are at their best. (Discount Tire for instance says to give the tires a few hundred miles of low-wear first.) The second thing I'd think is that it's a parking lot with probably a lot of oil on the ground from cars sitting there all the time. Seemingly nice roads/intersections become very interesting really quick when there is any oil (or gravel) on the ground.

I don't think he dumped the clutch when there's a car right in front of him, unless it was just an accidental slip-up or something, since there was a car right in front of him. There wasn't anywhere for him to go if he gunned it.

 

like a couple people said....new tires r slick. I had to replace my back tire and my new tire is a Pirelli Diablo Corsa III. I still consider myself a new rider (got a ZX6R for my first bike in May of this year) And even i could handle a new tire. Cause this guy gave it abit to much gas.

sucks for all, I want to get a bike. I am going to take a course at the local community college first and find a decent bike, nothing special to get going on. Used to ride dirt bikes but its definitely different between the two lol
