Idk, I was never a fan of the 04 GTOs, but damn did I love the 05s and 06s. If I didn't find a great deal on my cobalt, I would have bought a GTO instead. Fast cars for their day.

 

Nice car. Ive looked at several and they are nice cars. Hard to believe at the end of 04 dealers were giving them away for 23k new...

Always liked tho. Just weird compromises have to be made. No pass thru in the trunk because of the gas tank... they get nasty hop(easily remedied) and cant run very wide tires.

While I Love Turbo's for 4 Cyl, SC are so sweet on a V8. Bet they scream.

 

Psssh, power curve for superchargers is too weak and your gas mileage is killed. Turbo'd goats are the bomb diggity.

Garren told me you bought this though, what ever happened to that beater turbo'd thing you were going to build before?

Whipple released the statistic that with the bypass open (cruising conditions) it takes less than 1 hp to turn their 2.9L Twinscrew. Your right foot kills your mileage. Not the supercharger.
